Aenne Burda - a woman with a strong sense of family
Her family always formed the centre-point of her life, giving her strength, support and pride: seen here in the 1950s with Senator Dr. Franz Burda (her husband, who died in 1986) and her sons Frieder (left), Franz and Hubert (right).
Her pet name was "Engele" (little angel) but Aenne Burda knew very well that she could be a devil too! Even as a young girl she knew exactly what she wanted and she always remained true to herself.
